The 2016 F-150’s second-generation 3.5-litre EcoBoost engine<\/h3>\n

Perhaps the most notable change for the F-150’s second-generation 3.5-litre EcoBoost engine is the increase in torque. The new engine offers 450 lb-ft torque, which is better than any other gasoline- or diesel-powered V6 engine on the market. It is also built with new, advanced components designed to improve drivability, efficiency, and performance.<\/p>\n

The new 10-speed transmission is designed with wide-span gear spacing and drag-reducing actions for better efficiency as well as best-in-class towing capabilities.
