By turning a knob, drivers can dictate which direction they would like the trailer to go and the Pro Trailer Backup Assist\u2122 does the rest. Watch the demonstration video below of an F-150 using the same technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new technology is the first of its kind for the full-size SUV market and aims to reduce time spent backup trailers in order to increase time spent on the water, on the trails or wherever your summer excursions take you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Integrated Trailer Brake Controller<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Integrated Trailer Brake Controller makes braking and slowing down with a trailer attached smooth and effective.&nbsp;When used properly, the trailer brake controller assists trailer braking by powering the trailer\u2019s electric or electric-over-hydraulic brakes with a proportional output based on the towing vehicle\u2019s brake pressure. You can adjust the amount of initial trailer brake output by selecting one of three settings through the message center. See the chart for Ford-verified brands and model numbers of TBC-compatible EOH brake systems. There may be other EOH brake systems not shown in the chart. Those systems have not been Ford compatibility-tested with the TBC and are not recommended for use.
