Come fall, law enforcement agencies will have the opportunity to up their pursuit game with Ford’s latest police responder model. Just as the 2018 F-150<\/a> will be being released so will the Police Responder model of the pickup, the first of its kind and with performance features to optimize patrol efforts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

2018 F-150 Pursuit-Rated Performance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Operating with complete off-road capability and on-road performance, the 2018 F-150 Police Responder offers departments enhanced versatility in the field as well as a number of durability features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fit with Ford’s EcoBoost technology<\/a> and 10-speed SelectShift\u00ae transmission, the F-150 Police Responder is able to put 375 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. Of torque. To accommodate any pursuits on uneven terrain, the pickup also features Ford’s four-wheel drive system and FX4 Off-Road Suspension system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tailored to the needs of officers on patrol, features of the 2018 F-150 have been re-calibrated for the Police Responder model to meet specific law enforcement needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
