Ford Auto Technician Qualifications and Requirements at Sherwood Ford <\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Right off the bat, you\u2019ll need to make sure that you\u2019re either a licensed Journeyman Technician or a 3rd or 4th year Apprentice. Ideally, we\u2019d love for applicants to have been to three trade school levels with experience working in the auto service industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A minimum of 2-3 years in the automotive business is recommended, as is an extensive knowledge of Ford vehicles. Ford training will give you a definite leg up, but we should mention that it\u2019s not a necessity, as we\u2019d be happy to give you the training you need if you check off all the boxes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
