Exit Warning is designed to operate when the car is in park, using radar located at the rear of the vehicle to detect vulnerable road users moving at a minimum speed of 4 miles per hour, roughly equivalent to one-third of the average speed of a cyclist.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Once a vulnerable road user is identified approaching the Mustang, the Exit Warning system springs into action, employing both audio and visual alerts to warn the driver. These alerts are delivered via Ford SYNC, the vehicle\u2019s instrument cluster, and the side mirror, informing the driver about the potential risk before opening the door.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
