Now, 16 years later, the Northeast Anthony Henday Drive project is finally coming to a close! The final northeast section has been under construction since the summer of 2012 and included the following components:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>189 lane km of new roadway<\/li>\n<li>About 523 utilities<\/li>\n<li>47 total bridge structures<\/li>\n<li>58 overhead signs<\/li>\n<li>Multiple roadway interchanges and train grade separations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Northeast Anthony Henday Road project was split into five different segments in order to account for traffic across the northeast part of Edmonton.
