Located in the old Paramount Theatre on Gateway Boulevard, Deadmonton Haunted House is well-known in the area for providing one of the most terrifying experiences out there. With intense lighting, sounds, and threats of jump scares around every corner, this is not an attraction for the faint of heart. That being said, it’s also a ton of fun, and we highly recommend you give it a shot!
Edmonton’s history is one that is steeped in mystique, but it also has a more sinister side. You’ll get to hear these stories first hand on the Old Strathcona Ghost Tour, which will take you through downtown complete with tales of reported hauntings, ghost sightings, and other unresolved mysteries. It’s certainly a great way to learn more about the community that we live in, as well as get a little unsettled by what must be inhabiting the places in which we live, work and play.
If you’re more about learning about Edmonton’s past via rail, its Haunted Trolley Tour is your best option. As you and your friends venture through the city, you’ll hear some of the darker stories about Old Strathcona, the spirits that still lurk around the Arts Barns, and even some of the more horrifying times at U of A. All in all, a trolley ride through the city at night is sure to conjure up all sorts of emotion.
