We’ve picked our top four locations for swimming in our area. We’ll tell you why each one is featured and what you can expect when you pay a visit. Be sure to check on restrictions before making the drive to one of these locations, as you might need to schedule a time in advance to swim due to capacity limitations.
There are a few reasons to check out this pool. First, if you love beaches, but can’t find one in the area that suits you, this pool is complete with an artificial beach, sand, and umbrellas. Second, if you are sensitive to chlorine and other water chemicals, then you’ll be pleased to know that this pool doesn’t use any. Don’t worry; it does have other cleaning systems in place.
This option scores double points. It has available picnic sites that you can rent, which is awesome if you’re planning an event. There are also several lakes at Rundle Park along with one pool. This gives you many options for water activities. Plus, there’s a beach volleyball court.
The Queen Elizabeth Outdoor Pool is located right next to Kinsmen Spray Park, another outdoor water facility for you to check out. Furthermore, the surrounding attractions of Kinsmen Park include hiking trails, sports fields, a playground, and even a museum. This gives you plenty to do for an entire day out.
What’s better than a water park? Maybe a water park in a mall. With four big slides, indoor surfing, and a large water playground, this one easily tops the charts for waterpark amenities. Of course, there’s also a mall attached if you want to get a bite to eat.
