Temperatures here in Central Alberta were more reminiscent of Antarctica than anything last week, but now that the deep freeze that has surrounded all of Canada has thankfully passed, it’s as good a time as ever to get back out to the great outdoors and enjoy nature again. And let’s be honest, what’s a better way to spend some time than with your sled and your family?
This month, we crowd-sourced our Facebook followers for some of their suggestions on where to find the best sledding hills in Edmonton and Sherwood Park AB for Winter 2020 – we picked one lucky winner to go home with a brand new Ford GT Snow Racer, and we’ll introduce you to him below!
Given the hilly, varied terrain here in Edmonton, there are so many great places to get your adrenaline on, and our awesome Facebook, Twitter and Instagram fans gave us plenty of recommendations that they love in the area. Here are the top eight sledding hills in YEG, picked by you!
