Though it can be difficult in the hustle of everyday life, it’s important to remember how fortunate we are to be living in a country with the opportunities that Canada provides. Here at Sherwood Ford, we believe that every member of our community should be able to have the same privileges and hopes for the future. That’s why we’re proud to partner with the Boys and Girls Club of Strathcona County! Our team will be attending a fundraising dinner that the organization is putting on Saturday, March 17th, and wanted to share how you can also get involved.
On March 17 at 6 pm, you’ll be able to attend the Boys and Girls Club’s fundraiser dinner at Spark, located right here in Sherwood Park. Plenty of cool events will be happening throughout the evening, including a gourmet buffet, live music, and a game entitled “Name That Tune!” It all promises to be a lot of fun for all who come by and participate.
We should also mention that by purchasing tickets to this event, all proceeds will be going straight to the Boys and Girls Club to help fund a camping trip to the Rockies this summer! We’re sure that as a kid, one of your favourite memories was sitting around the campfire roasting marshmallows and cooking hot dogs, and it’s so cool to be able to give these kids those same opportunities!

The Strathcona County Boys and Girls Club is a registered charity organization, which is dedicated to helping needy Edmonton-area children grow and develop in a safe environment. Since being founded in 2001, the organization has been able to assist area children in many different ways, such as hosting before and after-school programs, spring break, and summer camp activities. With your donations, the Boys and Girls Club is able to give every child a chance with some fun to boot!
