The sacrifices that he’s made can’t be understated, and as such it’s so important for us all to pay tribute to the men that have paved the way for our upbringings, no matter where they’ve led. On June 17, we’ll get the chance to show dad just a little bit of all that he’s worth, and we invite you to join our Sherwood Ford team at some fun Father’s Day 2018 Events near Edmonton and Sherwood Park AB! If you’re looking to get a good workout in before all the fun, you’ve got ample opportunity to do so at Rundle Park, for the annual Do it for Dads 5K. Registration is $35, and all proceeds from the race will go towards prostate cancer research and prevention efforts!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
With all the magic dad works on the grill, he deserves some time away from the deck for at least an afternoon. Take him out to Prairie Gardens in nearby Bon Accord for a delicious farm-to-table meal, along with a petting farm and other cool stuff for the kids to enjoy!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

St. Albert’s Springtime Soapbox Derby might not be on Father’s Day this year (it’s on June 10), but that doesn’t mean that dad won’t get his time in the spotlights. Register your 6-12-year-olds for this race, and come to see some fast action, along with time set aside to honour all our fathers!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
If pops is a car enthusiast, he’s sure to enjoy the Edmonton Father’s Day Car Show, set to take place at Celebration Church right off Argyll Road. You’ll get to see hot rods, antiques, sportier cars, motorcycles and more \u2013 you’ll also get to enter your own for a potential $500 cash prize! Plus, there will be food trucks and free barbecue, which has swayed us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
