Though they certainly deserve recognition and praise every single day, every year on November 11 our entire nation celebrates Remembrance Day, a fitting tribute to all who have served in our Armed Forces. Even if you don\u2019t know what a \u201cruck march\u201d is, you\u2019ve probably seen it portrayed in movies and other media \u2013 it\u2019s basically a 5 or 10K, only you\u2019re carrying a heavy amount of gear and supplies to prepare you for fast-moving combat in the service. In this case, to show solidarity and support for our veterans, Wounded Warriors Canada is sponsoring its very own ruck march through Gold Bar Park in Edmonton. On Sunday, November 11, starting at 10:15 am (though we recommend you arrive by 9:45 to get a seat), you\u2019re invited to Edmonton City Hall for an official Remembrance Day service,\u00a0led by the Commanding Officer of the Loyal Edmonton Regiment. This is a must-visit to\u00a0honour\u00a0all\u00a0sacrifices\u00a0and accomplishments made by those who have served Canada.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
