What’s new with the 2019 Ford Raptor?

2019 Ford F-150 Raptor new performance and technology features

Ford pickups are legendary in the eyes of so many residents of Alberta – and Canada as a whole – for their willingness to accompany us on those off-road journeys. A clear favourite for your next adventure is the Raptor, by far the most trail-ready truck that Ford has to offer. It’s set to return to us here at Sherwood Ford for the new model year with even more capability, so come with us as we check out the 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor new performance and technology features!

2019 Ford F-150 Raptor drivetrain updates

The two biggest developments of the 2019 Raptor both come in its drivetrain, and each promise to give you even more control over the terrain, no matter where you’re trying to go. First things first, class-exclusive Fox 3.0 Internal Bypass Shocks will come standard, with Live Valve technology built-in as well. Not only does this help absorb any bumps you might come across, but it also helps the Raptor to adapt to changes in the pathway ahead in real-time!

In addition, the 2019 Raptor will also serve up a Trail Control™ system. Think of this as a cruise control of sorts, only instead of highway driving, it helps to optimize your drive for the terrain ahead. It sends power and braking to individual wheels and axles, meaning that all that’s left for you to do is grip the wheel and let loose!

2019 Ford F-150 Raptor interior seating arrangements

Better performance isn’t the only thing the new Raptor will offer; you’ll also get comfort and serenity as a top priority behind the wheel. This is achieved by new Recaro sport seats, which bring unprecedented back support to the table. There will also be blue Alcantara inserts and accent stitching patterns to go with this, adding some much-needed pop to an already refined interior!
