What’s true in the automotive world parallels most other industries as well – if you have the gall to say that you’re the best, you have to have the tools and tangibles ready to back up these claims. Throughout history, Ford has shown a readiness to boast about the forward-thinking nature of its vehicles, and why shouldn’t it? The Ford line is objectively one of the strongest out there, driven by great innovation and power, all wrapped up in models that have beauty and brawn in high amounts.
It’s because of this that we’re proud to announce that the new Ford Fusion sedan and Ranger pickup (for the first time since 2006) have been awarded “Best in Initial Quality” by J.D. Power and Associates. Check out more below!
J.D. Power & Associates is one of the top organizations in the business when it comes to determining the true value of a vehicle – it designates its “Initial Quality” awards by analyzing complaints and reported problems that consumers have within 90 days of purchasing a new model. Those that have the least amount of problems are, naturally, a better value right off the bat, which is why it’s all the more impressive that the Fusion and Ranger have been so highly rated.
Elsewhere, Ford’s SUV lines had a strong showing as well. The 2019 Escape, Expedition and Flex all scored in the top 3 of their respective segments, as did the F-150 and Super Duty lines, fellow pickups to the Ranger. All in all, it’s shaping up to be one of the best years yet for Ford!
