Ford has revealed pricing for the 2021 Ford Escape Hybrid and PHEV, or plug-in hybrid. Customers will wait a little longer for its arrival as the Blue Oval plans to begin production in January 2021 with shipments to dealerships in the spring.
The Ford Escape PHEV achieves incredible fuel efficiency while offering drivers a vehicle that’s also friendly to the environment.
Escape PHEV is rated at 2.3Le/100km, or 100 MPGe. The 14.4-kWh battery-only range is rated at least 48 kilometers in Canada. Charging times on a household 110-volt Level 1 charger, a full charge will require between 10 and 11 hours. Using a 240-volt Level 2 charger, charge time drops to roughly 3.5 hours.
Canadian pricing starts at $32,749 for the SE HyBrid, $34,249 for the SEL, and $37,69 for the Titanium. Destination and delivery adds $1,900.

Other technology includes adaptive cruise control and a traffic-sign recognition feature join the optional Co-Pilot360 Plus package; a hands-free power liftgate and memory settings for the driver’s seat and exterior mirrors are now part of the Technology package; and a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a keyless-entry keypad, and LED exterior lighting are now on the list of features in the Convenience package.
