The Ford Super Duty can be equipped with front bumper sensors and a front camera view to make parking easier. If your truck is equipped, you’ll get audible warnings when you drive too close to objects. Watch the video below to see how it works, or visit Sherwood Ford in Sherwood Park, AB, for a test drive.
As you’ll see, these truck technologies make parking a breeze by showing you what’s ahead of your vehicle and giving audible warnings as you approach objects. Together, front parking sensors and a front-view camera make it possible to maneuver around low-standing obstacles without damaging your truck.
If your truck is beeping as you park, you’re driving close to an object detected by the front parking sensors. If you get within twelve inches of an object, your truck will beep continuously to warn you. You can stop driving briefly to stop the warning signals.
Not all trucks are equipped with the technology shown in the video above. If your truck doesn’t automatically show you a front view when you’re approaching an object, it likely doesn’t have the predictive camera view feature. When checking whether your truck has this feature, be sure to get accurate year and trim level information, as models will vary.
