The 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning XLT will start out at $68,000 CAD. The highest trim level will start at around $110,000 CAD MSRP. So far, we know of three trim levels.

The 2022 Rivian R1T Launch Edition will start at $97,700 CAD. The Adventure model will start out at the same with a later delivery date. The Explore will also come later and starts at $88,100 CAD MSRP.

Ford F-150 Lightning vs Rivian R1T – delivery time

Orders for the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning will be placed beginning this fall. First shipments will start in the spring of 2022. This puts it a little behind the R1T in release dates.

The 2022 Rivian R1T will be delivered beginning in November 2021. At first, this will just be the Launch Edition. The Adventure and Explore packages will begin delivery at the start of 2022.
