1903: Ford opens its first factory in Detroit, Michigan Over one hundred years ago, the first Ford factory was opened on Mack Avenue in Detroit by the founder Henry Ford.
1914: Ford offers high wages to its factory workers $5 a day might not sound great, but in 1914, $5 a day helped reduce employee turnover and allowed workers to afford Ford vehicles of their own.
1932: Ford introduces the flathead V8 engine Ford introduced the flathead V8 engine in 1932 and got a patent for it in 1935. Today, you can still find this powerful engine type in some of the latest Ford models.
1964: The Ford Mustang makes a grand debut The brand’s most iconic sports car is the Ford Mustang, and it has a long history. Starting back in 1964, this model has been produced worldwide and has more recently become the best-selling sports car in the world. Check out the newest Ford Mustang models in our inventory.
1965: The Ford Bronco first appears The Ford Bronco was first introduced only a year after the Ford Mustang made its debut. Recently, this popular model was revived, and we now have the Ford Bronco and Ford Bronco Sport available at our dealership.
