Thanks to many advancements in off-road technology, the all-new 2019 Ford Ranger will be ready to take you off the beaten path at a moment’s notice.
The rumors swirling around for the better part of the past year are true! The Ranger is returning to the Ford family of vehicles starting in early 2019. If you’re as excited as we are here at Sherwood Ford, then you have to check out the impressive off-road capabilities of the 2019 Ranger.
Because we live in a province full of natural wonders such as lakes, mountains, rivers, forests, and more, you’re going to need a vehicle capable of getting you and your family out to these places so you can enjoy your time in the great outdoors. That’s where the available FX4 Off-Road Package comes in. This package allows you to monitor the pitch and roll of your Ranger to ensure that you can adapt your steering correctly. This package also provides your Ranger with all-terrain tires with an aggressive tread pattern to optimize traction while you’re driving off the pavement.
Also available on the 2019 Ranger is a Trail Control™ system. With this in place, driving off road will be as effortless as driving down the highway. Simply press a button and the engine, brakes, and transmission will all begin to work together to ensure that they all maintain a constant speed between 2 and 24 km/h. It’s like cruise control for driving off road!
