Technology Features on the 2018 Ford F-150

You already know that the 2018 Ford F-150 is strong, dependable, durable, and more capable than any other truck on the market. But did you know that it’s also one of the smartest trucks on the road?

Ford vehicles have always been at the forefront of cutting-edge automotive technology, and the F-150 is no exception. With its broad range of both standard and available technological features, the F-150 is second-to-none when it comes to pickup trucks. Even most sedans and SUVs are out-classed by what the 2018 F-150 offers. If you’ve been putting off getting a new truck, now is the time to reward yourself with the smart, and easy-to-operate 2018 F-150.

SYNC Connect

If your truck often turns into your mobile office, you’re going to love the available SYNC Connect system. No more relying on your phone’s data system and spotty Wi-Fi from the diner across the street. SYNC Connect brings Wi-Fi capability right inside of your truck, and up to 50 feet away from it. Because 10 different devices are able to connect at the same time, you’ll never have to worry about your friends, or your kids, arguing over who gets to use it.

360-Degree Camera

Another available feature on the 2018 F-150 is the 360-Degree Camera. This system actually utilizes four different cameras placed along each side of the vehicle, and is able to provide you with a bird’s-eye view of the area around your truck. By simply looking at your display screen, you’ll be able to know exactly how much room you have in front, behind, or along the sides of your truck. This system is sure to make backing up to your hitch and getting in and out of tight spaces a breeze.

Adaptive Cruise Control

When you’re cruising down the highway and you begin to catch up to the vehicle ahead of you, the Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go system will kick in and keep your truck at a safe distance behind the other vehicle. Radar on the front of the vehicle constantly monitors the distance between vehicles, and your truck will be able to speed up or slow down depending on what happens in front of you. It can even bring your truck to a complete stop all by itself!
