List of Ford alternative fuel vehicles available in Canada in 2021 and 2022 

There are seven Ford vehicles that currently come with hybrid or electric powertrains for the 2021 or 2022 model year. These models can be viewed, test-driven, and purchased here at Sherwood Ford. We also have pre-owned hybrid and electric vehicles here at our dealership near Edmonton, AB. 


Which Ford models are all electric or battery electric vehicles? 

Often, when people are looking for electric vehicles, they really want all-electric vehicles or battery electric vehicles (BEVs). These interchangeable terms refer to vehicles that rely solely on electric power. Currently, two Ford models fit this description. We’ll tell you a little about each below. 

2022 Ford F-150 Lightning all-electric truck in Sherwood Park, AB 

With the 2022 model year, we see the first all-electric Ford F-150 truck. This much-waited-for model is extremely powerful and builds off the popularity of the Ford F-150 truck, which comes in a hybrid version in previous model years.  

2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E battery-electric SUV near Edmonton, AB 

The Ford Mustang Mach-E has its roots in the iconic Ford Mustang lineup, but it is clearly different from previous models. Not only is it an SUV, but it is also an EV. It does keep with the sporty looks and high performance of the lineup, though.
