What is the Edmunds Top Rated Truck award? 

The Top Rated Truck award is just one category of an annual award given out by Edmunds. Each award category is for a different type of vehicle. Edmunds is considered a trusted shopping guide for car shoppers. Every year, the company gathers information through vehicle testing and a rigorous ranking process. The winner in each category is the highest-ranked vehicle. 

Did any other Ford vehicles win an award from Edmunds this year? 

Aside from the Ford F-150 winning Top Rated Truck, its electric counterpart won a second award. The Ford F-150 Lightning EV truck won in the Top Rated Electric Truck category for 2023. We’re not surprised that both parts of this dynamic duo were honored with a title.  

Which vehicles competed in Edmunds Top Rated awards? 

Edmunds pulls vehicles from many automakers. The winners are selected from a group of finalists that consist of the highest ranking eligible new vehicles in each vehicle class. Eligible vehicles must have undergone the full Edmunds testing by November of the previous year and must be on sale on January 1, 2023.
