Three charging options for your 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning truck 

If you are curious about how to find charging stations for the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning, there are three main ways to do so. You can get one installed at home, find them as you go, or plan a route around your charging options. Keep reading for more information on each option. 

  1. Ford will provide drivers with an 80-amp charge station as standard equipment with the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning. It is the only automaker to offer this as standard equipment, and trust us, you’ll love having a charging station at home. If you plug your vehicle in overnight, you’ll get a full charge in roughly eight hours. If you just want a quick fill, you can add 30 miles of range per charging hour. 
  2. Drivers can find charging stations on the go with ease. That’s because FordPass will give you access to North America’s largest public charging network. If you travel to the U.S., you can find more than 63,000 plugs. In both the U.S. and Canada, charging stations are rapidly being installed. DC fast chargers can be found at many locations, and these 150 KW chargers can give your vehicle 54 miles of range in just 10 minutes.  
  3. Lastly, if you want to have a more specific route in mind before leaving the house, the FordPass Power My Trip function allows you to plan ahead by identifying charging stations from home. Cloud-connected navigation allows you to find public charging locations and prompts you as you drive. Plus, Intelligent Range in the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning can calculate your remaining driving range.
