We all love those extra bonus features that take our capable and functional vehicles to the best vehicle you’ve ever owned. The 2017 Ford F-150 is that vehicle that you will never want to get out of or get rid of. It’s new Multi-Contour Seats with Active Motion take every drive to the next level and transform a long road trip into a long massage.
Just as their name suggests, the multi-contour seats of the F-150 feature various curves and supports to create the most comfortable ride possible. A feature of the front driver and passenger seats, the multi-contour seats can be adjusted 10 ways and are made of a unique multi-contour leather. Each seat is also able to be heated or cooled and set to massage using the Active Motion function.
The F-150’s Active Motion seats are designed to reduce driver fatigue on longer drives and increase blood flow to the back and legs. It does this by using air pockets in two different locations to massage the selected area, thereby increasing blood flow. When activated, the system will massage for 20 minutes and automatically shut off once the time has been reached. Occupants can turn off the function early by pressing the center of the 5-way control.
Active Motion Lumbar Massage – Located in the contours of the seatback.
Active Motion Seat Massage – Provides a rolling motion on the bottom of the seat.
There two ways to control the Active Motion feature, either via your F-150 touchscreen or the 5-way switch positioned on the side of the seat behind front power seat controls.
***The Multi-Contour Settings Screen Can Also Be Accessed By Pressing Any Button On The 5-Way Control****
Ford’s Multi-Contour Seats with Active Motion are available on the 2017 F-150 King Ranch and come standard on the Platinum and Limited trims. To get behind the wheel of an equipped F-150 and experience the feature for yourself, contact our team to schedule a test drive.
