You wanted a performance hatchback and Ford has provided. In response to fan requests and demand, Ford has created a limited edition performance Focus RS with previously optional features as standard equipment and exclusive colors and design elements. Dubbed the “hot hatch,” the 2018 Focus RS Limited Edition satisfies the demand for a higher performance RS.

For the 2018 limited edition model, Ford has equipped the Focus RS with a standard mechanical limited slip differential on the front axle and a first ever drift mode as part of its Focus RS drive mode options. The limited-slip differential will allow drivers enhanced delivery of power to the front wheels and the new drift mode will make play time with the RS even more fun.

The Focus RS drift mode is best-suited for track conditions to create a controlled oversteer drift. Drift mode is similar to a performance car’s “track” mode or “race” mode and allows for higher performance from the powertrain. In drift mode, the hot hatch can launch from the start line, racing from 0 to 60 mph in only 4.7 seconds.

Focus RS Limited Edition Design

Highlighting its exclusiveness, the 2018 Focus RS Limited Edition will only be available in two colors, a new Race Red and Notorious Blue. These hues are complemented by 19-inch premium painted forged alloy wheels, a gloss black roof, side mirror and rear spoiler as well as RS logos on the wheel caps and wing sides.

Its interior will feature carbon fiber accents, black leather trimmed RECARO® seats with Miko-Dinamica suede microfiber inserts and RS logos. Additionally, the limited edition RS will be fit with convenience features including heated seats, a heated steering wheel and voice-activated navigation.
