There are two available motors with the upcoming 2019 Edge, and you’ll get your choice of either a 2.0-litre four-cylinder (capable of producing 245 horsepower) or a 2.7-litre turbocharged V6, which can amp up your power to a maximum rating of 315 horsepower. This makes the 2019 Edge projected to be one of the strongest production SUVs on the market!
Of course, there is substance to go along with the promise of great strength. The 2019 Edge will also bring an available all-wheel-drive system to the table, as well as steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters and a sport-tuned suspension. Combined, these updates help to improve your smoothness of ride as well as the control that you’ll feel on the said ride!
To go along with its beefy engines, the 2019 Edge has also undergone an extensive redesign to leave it looking leaner and meaner. This includes an updated grille design (with chrome accents surrounding), a restyled front fascia, and LED headlamps to finish off the front-facing package.
In addition, the rear of the 2019 Edge brings all-new LED taillamps into the fold, as well as bright exhaust tips and an overall sleeker body construction. You’ll still be able to handle up to 73.4 cubic feet of cargo inside, but that will be housed inside a decidedly more beautiful body!
