Available Technologies on the 2019 Ford Transit Connect Wagon

The Ford Transit Connect Wagon is all-new for 2019 and your friends at Sherwood Ford are here to tell you about some of the available technologies you can get on your 2019 Transit Connect Wagon.

The Ford Transit Connect Wagon has long been the go-to vehicle for business owners and families alike. With enough seating space to seat a family of seven, getting the whole family out to the cabin will never be easier. Dual sliding doors on the sides of the Transit Connect Wagon make getting into the back seats or loading up with cargo a breeze, and thanks to the many added technological features, the Transit Connect Wagon is able to keep all of your precious cargo safe and sound.

More Transit Information

Blind Spot Information System

Available on the 2019 Transit Connect Wagon, the Blind Spot Information System, or BLIS®, is like having an extra set of eyes in the back of your vehicle. Sensors that are located along the side panels constantly monitor the area around your Transit Connect Wagon in order to keep watch for other vehicles in your blind spots. When the system detects another vehicle in an area that you may not be able to see, it will send you warnings and a light will illuminate on the appropriate side-view mirror letting you know that it isn’t safe the change lanes quite yet.

Adaptive Cruise Control

Another available option on the 2019 Transit Connect Wagon is the Adaptive Cruise Control system. Like the Blind Spot Information System, the Adaptive Cruise Control also utilizes a sensor to monitor the area around the Transit Connect Wagon. This time, the sensor is located on the front of the vehicle and it keeps an eye on the distance between your Transit Connect Wagon and the car ahead of you while you’re in cruise control. When the system detects that the distance between the two vehicles is beginning to shrink, it will automatically slow down engine speed to keep you at a safe distance away.
