What are the 2018 Ford F-150 Cab Differences?

Differences between the 2018 Ford F-150 Regular Cab, Crew Cab and SuperCrew cab configurations

Looking for a high-tech, strong-performing pickup truck can often be daunting, especially in the case of the 2018 Ford F-150 line. This isn’t because of the menacing yet accessible demeanor that these pickups feature, but rather the types of cab lengths and builds that are available on most F-150 trims. We want to aid you in your search, and we’ll be showing you the differences between the 2018 Ford F-150 Regular Cab, Crew Cab, and SuperCrew cab configurations today. All three of these bring their own unique qualities to the fold, and you’re sure to find the one that best suits you!

2018 F-150 Regular Cab Design and Build

The F-150 truck’s basic build is what’s known as the Regular Cab, which features two doors, one row of seating and space for up to three passengers. You’ll also get your choice of either a short or long box, making this a highly versatile pickup choice. Plus, it’s available with both a 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrain!

2018 F-150 Super Cab Design and Build

For those looking for a bit more room while keeping the F-150’s compact seating values in check, we recommend looking at its Super Cab configuration. This truck offers four doors, the rear two of which are rear-hinged. This means that they can only be opened when their respective front doors are opened. This does, however, add some needed reinforcement to higher F-150 trims.

2018 F-150 SuperCrew Design and Build

The highest level of the F-150 pickup’s trims, the SuperCrew plays out more like an SUV than a simple truck. Four front-hinged doors are available, and six people can fit comfortably inside on available leather arrangements. However, be advised that this configuration can only be acquired on Lariat and higher trims.
