Ford’s First All-Electric Crossover SUV Finally Has a Name: Mustang Mach-E

A new horse is joining the stable of iconic Mustang cars! The Ford Mustang Mach E is an all-electric zero emissions game changer. It promises to deliver guilt-free performance for the next generation of thrill-seekers!

Following the EV’s full reveal on Sunday November 17 at the Los Angeles Auto Show, Reservations can be made online for $500.

Teased and anticipated, Fords all-electric, Mustang inspired crossover has an official name—a performance Mustang that also will don the iconic pony badge.

It’s long been speculated that Mach-E would be in the name, but Ford’s confirmation of “Mustang” being part of it comes as a surprise to many fans. Reservations open online immediately after the full reveal at 9:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, November 17.

Interested customers can reserve a spot in line by making a required $500 USD refundable reservation deposit at Ford.com. Those who do so can then select their desired spec for their Mustang Mach-E, create a Ford account to select Sherwood Ford as their preferred dealership and enter their personal information for when orders actually open next year.

The debut event in Los Angeles will be streamed on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0F9Uktpgtk Facebook, and Twitter.  Special guest, actor Idris Elba will help help introduce the latest addition to the Mustang lineup.
