Teased and anticipated, the all-electric, Mustang-inspired crossover has an official name—a performance Mustang that also will don the iconic pony badge.
It’s been speculated that Mach-E would be in the name, but Ford’s confirmation of “Mustang” comes as a surprise to many fans. Reservations open online immediately after the full reveal at 9:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, November 17, so don’t wait.
Can you reserve Ford’s first all-electric crossover SUV to buy?
Interested customers can reserve a spot in line by making a required $500 USD refundable reservation deposit at Ford.com. Those who do so can then select their desired spec for their Mustang Mach-E, create a Ford account to designate Sherwood Ford as their preferred dealership, and enter their personal information when orders open sometime in 2020.
The debut event in Los Angeles will be streamed on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0F9Uktpgtk, Facebook, and Twitter. Special guest, actor Idris Elba, will help introduce the latest addition to the Mustang lineup.
