My experience dealing with Sherwood Ford was absolutely amazing. I was drawn to Sherwood Ford in the hunt for a Ranger Raptor, and saw one listed on their website for a unbeatable price. I wanted to purchase the Raptor in memory of my late brother who had passed away unexpectedly of illness before he could get one himself in 2025.
Joe Aloneissi took care of the sale and test drive, while Matt Irvine handled the financing after I knew this Ranger Raptor was meant to be mine. Both these gentlemen treated my spouse and I with the highest respect and compassion I have ever seen in a dealership as they learned the heartbreaking journey that led me to Sherwood Ford, which was losing my brother to illness at only 35 years old. Through the whole process I both cried and laughed with them as I shared about who my brother was and how much he would have loved the 2024 Ranger Raptor I had just purchased in his memory.
Thank you both for understanding that this sale was more than just a truck to me, and that it was also a vital vessel to keep my brothers memory alive. As I drove it home from Sherwood Park, blasting my brothers favorite music, I knew it was meant to be mine. Everything felt perfect. The hum of the engine, the music, how comfortable I felt driving it even though my previous vehicle was smaller and very different. I felt my brother with me on that drive home, helping me find the confidence in driving a truck like he did.
Now that I have driven it multiple times, and to multiple places. I would never go back to a smaller vehicle again. I love the rumble of the exhaust as it starts up, and how smooth the engine purrs as that amazing touch screen lights up and comes to life. I was worried my young daughter would have a hard time transitioning over to a truck, but her carseat now sits higher and she has so many more windows to see out of, she absolutely loves it!
My whole family has absolutely fallen in love with this Raptor. Thank you both for making this dream come true for us, and especially for my brother. May he rest in peace with the Raptor he had his heart set on. Thank you immensely for everything you have done for us and helping heal a part of my heart and soul.

Edit – July 11, 2026: Credit where it's due on the sales side — but the online service booking system is junk, and it's costing them a star. I tried to schedule my first appointment and it failed repeatedly; the error message even admits it's on their end ("something went wrong at our end" — screenshot attached). I’m from Manitoba and recently bought a 2020 Ford Ranger from Sherwood. Being an out of province buyer, I expected the process to be a bit complicated, but Aleksey and the team made everything incredibly easy. They were helpful throughout, accommodated me as much as they could, and even arranged for me to pick up the truck on their day off. Aleksey was fantastic to work with from start to finish.
