The All is Bright Festival takes place at the businesses of 124 Street and High Street in Edmonton on Saturday, November 19, 2016. The festival lasts from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and includes live entertainment, sleigh rides, carolers, children’s activities, and much more. Strathcona County’s Celebration of Lights Festivals is happening on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Community Centre in Sherwood Park. Don’t forget to bring a donation for the Strathcona County Food Bank! Read more.
Downtown St. Albert is hosting the Snowflake Festival on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The festival features a live ice sculpture display, petting zoo, and appearances by Santa and his elves. Read more.
Each year, the Legislature Grounds light up with thousands of bright lights, including a 60-foot spruce tree with over 5,000 lights. There is also a skating rink and choir performances taking place each day at noon, 6:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m during Celebrate the Season. Read more.
