How much will the base trim level of the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning cost?

The starting MSRP of the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning will be $68,000. That makes this a high-end pickup truck, which is no surprise when you consider all of its capabilities, from offering a front trunk for extra storage to offering a way to power your home in emergency situations. Plus, it might be able to save you money in the fuel department. 

There are three trim levels of the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning. The starting MSRP refers to the price for the base trim level, which will be the XLT, but you might be wondering how much the higher trim levels, the Lariat and the Platinum trim levels, will cost. Unfortunately, that information is not yet released as of the time of this writing, but Ford has stated on its website that the price range will go up to around $110,000. That means that Platinum will likely have an MSRP of around $110,000, while the Lariat will fall between the two extremes in price.  

When will we know more about the prices of the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning trim levels? Ford says on its site that detailed pricing will be released in Fall 2021. That means that we could find out in less than a month’s time, or we might have to wait up to three and a half months from the time of this writing. Hopefully, they will go with the former, and then we’ll be able to update you on the cost of trim levels and packages above the basic MSRP.
