Ultimately, the most applicable use of the Ford Intelligent Backup Power feature is to power your house during an outage. Ford says that this feature of the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning truck can power a house for up to three days normally or up to ten days if power is rationed. Those ratings are based on the 80-amp Ford Charge Station Pro with a home management system using an average of 30kWh per day with an extended-range battery.
