Available on the 2018 Ford Escape is a Blind Spot Information System, or BLIS®. This system uses sensors located along the side panels of the vehicle to scan the lanes behind you. If it detects a vehicle approaching or entering your blind spot, it will send you a visible warning on the corresponding side-view mirror.
