Technology Features on the 2018 Ford Super Duty Trucks

You already know that the Ford Super Duty trucks are some of the most powerful, durable, and capable in the industry but did you also know that they’re some of the most technologically advanced?

Your friends at Sherwood Ford are here again and this time we’ve decided to tell you a little about the amazing technological features that are both standard and available on the Ford Super Duty line of trucks. Ordinarily known for their impressive power and capability, most people don’t associate Super Duty trucks with being at the forefront of automotive technology. That’s where we come in. We’ve made a short list of some of our favorite technologies on the Super Duty trucks an we’re excited to share them with you.

Our F-350 Inventory

Blind Spot Information System

Available on the 2018 Ford Super Duty line of trucks is the advanced Blind Spot Information System, or BLIS® for short. What separates this blind spot system from others is its ability to monitor the blind spot of your truck and your trailer. That’s right, not only will your truck be covered, but you’ll know whether or not something is entering into your trailer’s blind spot as well. This is just another way that the engineers at Ford have gone above and beyond to set the bar even higher.

Adaptive Cruise Control

Also available on the 2018 Super Duty trucks is the Adaptive Cruise Control system. Sensors located in the front of the truck are able to constantly monitor the distance between your truck and the vehicle ahead of you while you’re cruising down the highway. When the system detects that the distance between the two vehicles is beginning to shrink, it will automatically slow down your engine speed in order to keep you and your passengers at a safe distance back until traffic speeds up.

If you’re interested in learning more about the technological features on the 2018 Ford Super Duty line of trucks, come on over to our dealership right here in Sherwood Park. We’ve got a wide range of trucks for you to come and take a look at and each one has the technology features that we know you’re going to love.
