The 3rd Annual Turkey Trot is taking place on Saturday, October 8, 2016 with the Kid’s Race at 9:15 a.m., the 10 km race at 10:00 a.m., and the 5 km race at 10:10 a.m. The races begin at the Family Center in Rundle Park in Edmonton. You can register online or on race day at Rundle Park. Read more.
The Haunted Pumpkin Festival is held at Prairie Gardens Adventure Farm in Bon Accord from October 1, 2016 until October 30, 2016. Gates open each day at 9:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m. Activities include guided tours, pumpkin cannon, live performances, corn maze, train rides, and much more. Edmonton Comedy Festival takes place from October 5, 2016 through October 8, 2016 at various venues throughout Edmonton. Comedians include Tom Arnold, Rondell Sheridan (from That’s So Raven), and more. The festival includes a free kids show on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the ATB Financial Arts Barns.
