City Market: 104 St., North of Jasper Avenue in Downtown Edmonton (Saturdays – 9 A.M. to 3 P.M.)
The City Market in downtown Edmonton offers an outdoor farmers market from May until November every Saturday between 9 A.M. and 3 P.M. The City Market features fresh food, homemade crafts, soaps and more. When the City Market is open during from May until November, dogs are permitted. There are some etiquette guidelines, however. Dog owners are asked to keep their dogs leashed, as well as away from free samples, food tables, and other customers. Dog owners are also expected to clean up after their pet. The event is busy, so the organizers want to make sure common courtesy is shown by pet owners.
Farrow Sandwiches: 8422 109 St.
Our favorite cafe/restaurant in Edmonton is the Farrow Sandwiches. Farrow Sandwiches offers coffee, sandwiches, baked goods and appreciates visits from dogs! Check out their Instagram for some great pictures of their wonderful food and cool dog friends. In addition to their 109 St. shop, Farrow offers a second location at 9855 76 Ave. Stop by either of these locations with your favorite furry friend and grab a bite to eat or a delicious beverage.
