Ford Show & Shine'N Track Day Event  

Note:  if you Pre-registered for the event August 12th that was rained out, you do not need to register again for August 26th. 

Join us Sunday, August 26th, 2018 (rescheduled weather permitting) for fun in the sun at the Sherwood Ford and Alberta Mustang Owners Association 8th annual Ford Show'N Shine and Customer Appreciation Track Day at Castrol Raceway!

Bring your Ford Hot rod, classic or modern car, custom, truck or SUV for the Ford fans to admire at the Ford Show’N Shine, or test your metal on the track as fast as 9 seconds and make a hot pass in your Ford!

Gate registration at Castrol Raceway for all Show’N Shine and Track participants begins at 9:00am until 10am! We are once again collecting a $20 registration fee, with the entire proceeds to the Alberta Cancer Foundation in support of the Cross Cancer Institute. Our goal this year is to bring more than 200 vehicles and raise more than $5000 for the foundation! The event is open and FREE to the public to spectate with charitable donations welcome.

There are FREE shirts and awards for the Show’N Shine participants. Track award trophies are up for grabs as follows:

  • Fastest Stock Truck Pass
  • Fastest Modified Truck Pass
  • Fastest Stock Mustang Pass
  • Fastest Modified Mustang Pass
  • Fastest Stock Shelby Pass
  • Fastest Modified Shelby Pass
  • Slowest Pass of the day
  • Best Reaction Time

All track participants must adhere to the parameters of on-track safety as determined by NHRA. Download the Castrol Raceway Self-Tech Inspection form click here and bring it with you completed to the event.

This years mega Ford Car Show’N Shine and Track Day from 10am to 3pm that's fun for the whole family. No charge to the public to attend and donations are welcome for the Cross Cancer Institute.

Castrol Raceway Concession is open to the public with a $6 “Nitro Fries” special. Liquor is served to those not wearing a participant wristband.

Other events happening in conjunction include mobile DYNO testing provided by Khaos Kustoms, RoadBot Driving Simulator provided by the Alberta Motor Association and the Exotic Car Club on the Circuit Track.
