Make-A-Wish A Success
The Ford truck drivers from British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan came together Saturday July 2nd in Sherwood Park, Alberta for a good cause for Make-A-Wish. Â They had hoped to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest parade of Ford trucks, but fell short. Â However the aim to fulfill a child’s wish through Make-A-Wish Northern Alberta was successful!
Volunteer Organizers Gavin Packwood and Bill Armstrong presented the cheque to Jen Garden, Make-A-Wish Development and Events Coordinator.
180 Ford trucks gathered at the Bethel Transit Terminal in Sherwood Park for the day. Â The weather was great for the event and included food from local vendors and music too!
