Sherwood Ford sends Sherwood Park Kids to Ford Small Stars Series

Growing up in Edmonton, it’s every young hockey player’s dream to be able to take the ice as an adult in those iconic Edmonton Oilers sweaters. From legendary players of Oilers past like Wayne Gretzky, Jari Kurri and Mark Messier, to modern-day favourites such as Connor McDavid, Leon Drasaitl and Cam Talbot, our city has seen some of the best hockey moments in NHL history firsthand. That’s why our Sherwood Ford team is so proud to be able to help our community’s kids get to live out their dreams on the ice every single day.

From ponds to ice rinks across the country, hockey connects us all. It also develops deep-seeded rivalries, as seen whenever the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames square off in the Battle of Alberta. 2018 Stuff-A-Giant Truck Event at Sherwood Ford in Strathcona County

For most residents of Strathcona County, Christmas is a time to gather around with family and share in the true blessings that we have been fortunate enough to receive – that’s a big part of why North Central Alberta has long been a prosperous and friendly region for so many. However, there are still local residents of our area that are less fortunate and may not have the means to enjoy the same kind of Christmas cheer that we’ve taken for granted.
