Volunteer with us all next week!

Strathcona County National Volunteer Week 2019 Events near Edmonton AB

A huge reason behind Canada’s status as one of the greatest countries in the world is due to the hard-working, kind and generous nature of the residents of this nation. It’s because of this that our Sherwood Ford team is so proud to introduce you to Volunteer Strathcona, an organization that helps to promote wellness and societal advancement across the Edmonton area. With next week being Canada’s National Volunteer Week, we want to show you how you can get involved – join us at the Strathcona County National Volunteer Week 2019 Events near Edmonton AB

Self Care Sunday (April 7)

From 1-5 pm, you’re invited to Sherwood Park Log Cabin for Self Care Sunday, put on and sponsored by Imperial Oil. There, representatives will be talking about the importance of self care, including steps you can take to help your mental, emotional and physical wellness, as well as a meet and greet with all those who will be volunteering.

Sherwood Ford’s Volunteer Week Involvement

We wanted to recognize some of the awesome volunteers in our area, so our Sherwood Ford team donated a watch and note from our owner, Mark Hicks, to be presented to one lucky recipient during the Volunteer Strathcona Self Care Sunday Event.

It’s our pleasure to be able to give back to an organization that provides so much positivity and love to the community, and we wish Volunteer Strathcona nothing but the best moving forward throughout 2019!

At The Market (April 11)

From 4-7:30 pm at Salisbury Farmers Market, Volunteer Strathcona will have a booth for you to stop by and visit. There, you’ll learn about all the great volunteer opportunities in the Sherwood Park area, as well as other chances to get involved in the community.

Volunteer Fair (April 13)

West Edmonton Mall will be hosting a Volunteer Fair for all regional volunteer centres in and around Edmonton – there, you’ll be able to meet with some of the top organizations in the area and see who best represents the kind of involvement that you’re looking for!
