Car Show For Stroke Recovery Association

Car ShowYou’re invited to a car show & shine in support of stroke survivors, their families and care-partners!  All vehicles are welcome to participate in the 1st annual car show fundraiser in Sherwood Park for the Stroke Recovery Association.  Sherwood Park resident Steve Querry is President of the Association and shares more about the June 4th event.

Car Show for Stroke Recovery Association – All Welcome!

It’s not something Steve Querry is used to organizing, but he’s passionate about cars and loves to share his interest in vehicles with fellow enthusiasts.  Steve wanted to help others after suffering a stroke himself.  He decided to hold an auto show & shine to fundraise for the association that supports survivors.  As a volunteer, Steve says every $10 donation from car entries goes to support the programs and services for Edmonton and surrounding communities.  Association Past President Wendy Pangrass says funds raised all go toward support activities.  Update June 6: Photo Album of Car Show

All vehicle entries are welcome with a $10 dollar donation. Everyone is welcome to browse the car show free of charge, however  all donations are welcome!  Steve says it’s wide open and no limits on any particular vehicle or year. He says to simply come and have some fun and help a worthy cause! Wendy emphasizes how important this fundraiser is to the association.

The 1st annual car show for stroke recovery will run from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm  Saturday June 4th at the Sherwood Park shopping mall parking lot.  Below is a map to the mall located at 2020 Sherwood Drive in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
