New Ford 7.3-litre V8 power specs and drivetrain

It can crank out a maximum of 430 horsepower (achieved at 5,500 revolutions per minute) and 485 pound-feet of torque, which is achieved at 4,000 rpm. Thanks to an improved overhead valve architecture, this allows it to produce much more power and torque at lower engine speeds, giving you that added boost when youāre towing something heavy.
If you opt for this engine, it will be paired up with a 10-speed heavy-duty TorqShiftĀ® automatic transmission, designed exclusively for use in Fordās high-end, strongest pickups.
