Are you eligible for Ford roadside assistance?

Roadside assistance benefits come with all new Ford of Canada cars and light trucks. The program is separate from the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, but coverage lasts for the same period of 5 years or 100,000 km, whichever comes first. This initial coverage period is a complimentary service provided to new Ford vehicle owners and can be transferred to subsequent owners of the vehicle within the coverage period.

Ford roadside assistance services

Ford roadside assistance coverage is a service provided by Sykes Roadside Services on behalf of Ford of Canada to offer assistance in the event of any vehicle operation inconvenience on publicly maintained roads and adjacent sites. This excludes off-road driving and logging roads. Covered services include:

  • Towing a disabled Ford vehicle to the nearest Ford dealership, or maximum reimbursement of $75 when using a service other than Ford Roadside Assistance
  • Battery boost
  • Fuel delivery of up to 2 litres, up to 2 times per calendar year
  • Winching, maximum of 100 feet from the road
  • Flat tire
  • Emergency lock-out service, or maximum reimbursement of $75 when using a service other than Ford Roadside Assistance
  • Emergency travel expense reimbursement up to $500 when vehicle is disabled more than 160 km from home
